
About me
Dr. Agustín Garabito is a specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology, and an expert in Reconstructive Joint Surgery and comprehensive treatment of sports injuries, with special interest and training in the field of Arthroscopic Surgery.
A graduate in Medicine and Surgery from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, he went on to specialize at Hospital Universitario de La Paz, the leading hospital for traumatology in Spain, where he currently holds the position of deputy physician in the Lower Limb Reconstructive Surgery Unit, with special dedication to the knee joint.
He has extensive experience in Advanced Recovery Techniques for lower limb pathologies (hip, knee and foot), combining cutting-edge arthroscopic and minimal incision surgical techniques with the use of biological recuperative therapies such as hyaluronic acid and platelet-rich plasma, thus improving the patient's functional recovery.
Also worthy of note is his interest in non-surgical treatment of cartilage, ligaments, tendons and meniscus lesions through Regenerative Medicine and Biological Treatment techniques involving echo-guided puncture, such as joint viscosupplementation (Hyaluronic Acid) and use of Plasma Rich in Platelets.
